What is the Call Quality of a VoIP Call?

The call quality of cloud communications systems depends on the speed and reliability of your internet, but generally, a VoIP phone call will be crystal clear, with no latency.

You will usually hear a big improvement in call quality compared to what you would hear on traditional landlines. Landlines don’t have as much audio bandwidth, which can result in poor call quality.

How Much Will My VoIP Phone System Cost?

Do I Need to Have an Existing VoIP Phone?

You do not need to have an existing VoIP phone. But, you can bring your own, buy one, or rent one from us!

You can skip the desk phone completely if you want, and use the CallHarbor Mobile App from an Apple or Android phone, or use your web softphone and attendant console on your desktop, laptop, or smartphone to complete and transfer calls, text, and chat.

What Happens If I Lose Power?

Because our phone system works over the internet, during a power outage, your router will not be able to function, which means there will be no internet access.

The good thing is that in the event of a power outage, you can simply call our support team and ask us to forward calls to your cell phone numbers, or direct them to a voicemail. This will help you receive calls and avoid your customers getting busy signals and rejected calls. You can still use your mobile app to complete calls utilizing your business phone number as well.

What Makes CallHarbor Better Than Google Voice or Skype?

Although platforms like Skype or Google Voice use the same technology, VoIP, they are meant more for a personal level. They allow you to use an internet-based phone number, and even send messages, but they do not have even close to the same feature set as CallHarbor, or even other VoIP providers.
